Hello Tiger Team ~
Welcome to 1st grade! I hope
you are very excited about your first grade year because we have so much to
learn! I love to read and write. We are going to be reading each and every day,
as well as learning to be real authors who publish real stories. I really love
to do math too. I hope you're ready to become a mathematician because we are
going to be problem solving and working on math every day! I also love to be crafty and make wonderful things using markers, glitter, glue, and our imaginations! I can't wait to meet
you. Remember, Meet the Teacher Night is Thursday, August 23rd from 6:00 to
8:00 pm. Please bring your supplies labeled and be ready to sort them while your
parents complete some paperwork. There will also be a fun Scavenger Hunt for you to complete with a special treasure at the end!
Parents, please make sure the following
supplies are labeled with your child's name, to be kept in their personal school box at their desk:
1 - 5" blunt Fiskar's scissors
1 - 24 count crayons (Crayola preferred)
1 Jumbo glue stick
1 - Plastic
8 x 5 school box
1- pink beveled eraser
2 sharpened #2 pencils
All other supplies will be sorted so I can label everything for our school year!
