Our Flat Stanley Adventures...

Check out where our flat people have been! We have been mapping their adventures on our Texas, United States of America, and even our world maps in our Social Studies notebooks as well as keeping a large map on our bulletin board.

Dear Ms. Maggart's Class and Ms. Snyder's Class:

Flat Tiger and Flat Andrew here, reporting on our fun adventure with Regina.  When Regina was visiting Andrew and Matthias the weekend before Thanksgiving, She took us back to Dallas with her.  Here are some pictures of our trip back to dallas.  You'll see the skyline of the Big D.  We also went to work with her one day; that was boring, all she did was work.  We had a great Thanksgiving weekend with Regina and we'll write again soon and send some pictures of what we did.

Sincerely,
Flat Tiger and Flat Andrew

Hello:

My name is Marcos Vega, I'm Melanie's brother.  Me and Stanley are planing a trip to Mexico. So i'm going to keep you posted for the adventure that we are going to have. These 2 pictures show that we are getting ready for our trip

Walker's flat Stanley took a trip to the Dell Children's hospital emergency room! He got to lie down on the stretcher and get hooked up to the machines to make sure he was all right. He was checked out from head to toe and is doing great! He even got a sticker for being such a good little patient!

Dear Mrs. Maggart's Class,

This is Brian's Aunt Kerry. I wanted to write to let you know that Flat Brian has arrived in Las Vegas, Nevada for his visit with us. We are so excited to have him here this week, and have lots of fun plans for his trip! Flat Brian is being an excellent guest, but he really misses all of his first grade friends. The very first thing he wanted to do was buy you all presents! We took him to the World's Largest Gift Shop and he picked out presents for all of you! The store was so big, he had so many souvenirs to choose from. He spent a lot of time walking around to find just the right gifts, and is really excited to bring them to you when he comes home!

Las Vegas is a city with lots and lots of hotels. Our hotels aren't like the hotels you have in Round Rock, they are huge and each hotel has something unique and special about it; for example, one hotel has a circus in it! We are planning on taking Flat Brian to a lot of different hotels so that you all can see how neat our city is. Tonight we took him to a hotel called the Bellagio. The special thing about the Bellagio is that it has water fountains that dance to music. Also, the water in the fountains shoots almost 500 feet in the air!!! We took some pictures of Flat Brian in front of the fountains which we will send with him when he comes home. Flat Brian loved the fountains so much, and he really wanted you all to be able to see them, so we took some videos of the water dancing, I am sending those videos with this email so you all can see them.

Flat Brian and I hope you all have a fantastic day today! We are going to spend our day sight seeing around Las Vegas!

From,

Aunt Kerry

Hi Madi's class!!!

Just wanted to send along a few pictures and a quick update of Flat Bow's travels so far.

We first received Flat bow in Cozumel, Mexico. She had a great time hanging out with our family (Uncle Pat, Aunt Khris, Hollie and Hannah) We took her out by the pool and beach with us one day....but she did not want to go in the water so she just sat on a beach chair and watched us swim.

We had to leave Mexico on December 7th, so Flat Bow came on the airplane with us. We first stopped in Dallas, Texas and then onto Racine, Wisconsin. I think Flat Bow would rather be in Texas....it is 15 degrees here today.....brrrrrr! Flat Bow had never seen snow, so she asked to touch it. Then guess what....she made a snow angel!!! I attached a picture of her in the snow. She said she was a little cold so I think we are going to have to find a snowsuit and snow boots for her. If we find some I will try to e-mail you a picture.

Well, that's all for now....I will share some more news and pictures later!

Have a great day!!

p.s. We gave flat bow a nickname.....maybe you can ask Madi what it is.

Here is Jeremiah's Flat Stanley and his adventures! He visited some really cool places!

Stay tuned for more Flat Stanley adventures!
